What We Look For

  • Professional Appearance: You’ll be the face of Midwest Sound at weddings, corporate events, and school dances, so dressing the part is essential.

  • Time Management: Punctuality is a must. Events have strict timelines, and showing up on time shows respect for clients and their special day.

  • Physical Capability: Lifting up to 50 pounds is often required for loading and unloading equipment.

  • The “Show Must Go On” Mindset: When you accept an assignment with us, you’re pledging to show up—no matter how tempting that last-minute beach day, concert ticket, or hot date may be. We rely on team members who see their commitments through, rain or shine.

  • Enthusiasm for Learning: We don’t require prior DJ experience; in fact, we prefer to train you from scratch. We’ll teach you how to mix music, engage a crowd, and handle equipment like a pro.
