For over 34 years now Midwest Sound has been the most reputable Minnesota wedding DJ company.  We have had the opportunity to play at more venues than anyone, to play for more clients than anyone, and to shape the way other companies in the area conduct their business.

Midwest Sound has been at the forefront of the ever evolving wedding industry not only in the Twin Cities, but all throughout Minnesota, and in Wisconsin.

This is where our story begins….

Last week I flew out to Las Vegas for the Wedding MBA conference and seminar.  We found this to be advantageous on many different levels.  It really helped us discover that once again the wedding industry has changed.  This all starts with you, the bride and groom.  The main thing that really hit home with us was the fact that we need to make our process more user friendly and interactive for the client.  We have always felt a sense of pride over the ease in which our clients can float through our program all the way to their big event.  Turns out we were only scratching the surface of what can be done.

We are in a new time.  Not to sound too cliche’ here, but information is moving faster than it ever has before.  In the next couple of months you will see all kinds of new things pop up.  First is our Twitter page, we have re-launched our Facebook page, we will be adding video testimonials and clips from events, and there will be a few little secret things along the way.  If you can, please “like” us on Facebook, follow us Twitter, and subscribe to our Youtube channel you will be able to unlock some pretty cool stuff.

When I was out in Las Vegas last week I had the chance to talk to DJ companies from all around the country.  I spoke with large companies, small companies, and everything in between.  The thing that I realized is just how special this operation is.  All we want to do is share this experience with you and be able to show our enthusiasm at your next event.   Again, not to sound too cliche’ but we really haven’t been able to grow to this size without all of the couples that have used us in the past.  This means we will rely on you to tell us what you think!  Please e-mail us whenever you would like, write reviews on us, let us know if the videos are fun, or how we can improve them.  At the end of the day any feedback we have will not only make your event that much better, but it will also affect your sister’s event, your co-worker’s event, or any other event down the road.

Forget everything you know about DJ companies.  After 34 years of being the pioneer in the DJ industry, we are excited to bring forth a new Midwest Sound.
